Run the plot as field studies

Context

How we learn from the work. The model frames a learning loop (see learning).

Decision

Treat every significant prediction about the land as a hypothesis: set a fair test and success criteria in advance, measure honestly, and feed the result back into the model, confirmed or refuted.

Why

It keeps us honest, turns the plot into a set of real studies rather than impressions, and makes our results worth something to others.

Constraints

Small scale and two observers; studies stay simple and their limits stated.

Revisit when

The loop becomes busywork that never changes a decision.
